On 23rd September we invite you to Food Meets Science 2019 Symposium powered by Estrella Damm. It will be held at The Old Estrella Damm Brewery. Scientist like:
prof. Charles Spence, creator of the term gastrophysic and head of the Crossmodal Research Laboratory at Oxford University, dr. Nicola Pirastu representing the University of Edinburgh and
dr. Paul Smeets from the University Medical Center Utrecht.
As well as renowed chefs:
Chef Grant Achatz from restaurant Alinea Chicago, Chef Modest Amaro from Atelier Amaro Warsaw, Chef Pia Leon from restaurant Kjolle Lima, Chef Vladimir Mukhin from restaurant White Rabbit Moscow, Chef Davide Oldani from D'O' Davide Oldani Milan, Chef Joan Roca from restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, Girona.
will give a talks which unites two disciplines: science and cooking. Symposium will start at 10:00 am

On 24th September @THEBESTCHEFAWARDS will open the doors of the University of Barcelona with the 3rd edition of The Best Chef Awards. At 11:00 am the #AREATALKS event will begin. Chefs and other experts like foodies, food critics, sommeliers, social managers, digital creatives will present new trends in gastronomy, service, disuss different strategies behind success in social media, as well as answer the questions of young chefs. At 1:00 pm we will invite all guests for the lunch during #AREATALKS. #AREATALKS will finish at 4:00 am. At 7:00pm the Awards Ceremony will start with welcome reception. Next, and during the 2-hour long show the Winners of the Barcelona 2019 edition will be announced. The event will finish with Standing Dinner prepared by El Celler De Can Roca.
